His and Hers Event Waiver for the Whangarei 5 One Two Challenge.

  1. It is up the individual to prepare appropriately to take on the above challenge, while is achievable for most please plan, prepare and read up to date information on each track. Adhere to the rules set out by either the local council or department of conservation.
  2. Kauri Die Back is in Northland so PLEASE, adhere to all DOC signage and use the provided wash stations at the tracks, wash on way in and on way out to help prevent Kauri Die Back in Northland, the stations are provided for a reason.
  3. Please be aware this is a trail running Challenge. It’s not just a walk in the park. You are responsible for your own well-being don’t take any unnecessary risk and us common sense.
  4. His and Hers Events can make suggestions based on previous experience but will take no responsibility for any harm, accident, and loss of personal belongings.
  5. Littering of any kind is prohibited. Please respect the natural beauty of our trails and the right of everyone to enjoy them.
  6. Be respectful of other users of the track – such as recreational walkers and runners.
  7. It is up to the individual to choose which day, month and time they choose to take on the challenge set with in the challenge time line. His and Hers Events will not offer any refunds once entry has been purchased. T-shirt will only be sent to the registered individual once they have proven completion of rules met.
  8. Please tell someone of your intended travel, most places have cell phone coverage.
  9. Plan your nutrition and hydration. If you have a Personal locator beacon it is always advisable when out on the trails to take all safety measures to safe guard yourself. Carrying a basic first aid kit is also recommended, Poles and walking sticks allowed.
  10. Pack the car, towels and change of clothes, grab your friends and be treated to amazing Northland views, wild life, native bush and stunning coastline vistas! This is an amazing day out, push past your limits or use it for a training day . Either way it has something for everyone.
